Before the Sunrise: Introducing Emma Heirman, Part I
We are one week away…But before we start a new season of the podcast, we are delighted to share with you the first of two conversations between Jonah, Patrick, and Emma Heirman. As many of you know, Emma has been called to serve at the seminary as a fellow director, teacher, and priest, starting in September 2025. She has been a priest since 2016 and has served in the Denver, Colorado, and Washington, D.C., area congregations in North America.
During our annual director's retreat, which we held in the little town of Bowmansville, Ontario, we wanted to take the opportunity to get to know each other better. We longed to hear about the key spiritual experiences, life milestones, and important spiritual missions that we carry in our souls. Since our listeners already know Jonah and Patrick pretty well, we thought to ask Emma if she would be willing to “press record.” Fortunately, she was glad to take the risk.
