[REPOST] The Light in Every Thing - Episode 2 - Christ’s Ascension Part II

The Light in Every Thing Season 1 Episode 3

Dear Listeners,
Please enjoy these two episodes reposted from the very earliest months of The Light in Every Thing! We will be back next week with a new conversation between Jonah and Patrick.

Original Post Date:  May, 2020

Today we share with you the rest of our conversation on the mystery of Christ's Ascension, living with the question: what is this 'heavenly being' referred to in the liturgy, what are the 'heavenly forces' that Christ is working with to transfigure the earthly world ?

We look forward to hearing your thoughts and responses.

Resources for this episode include:

- The story of Christ's Ascension: The Book of the Acts of the Apostles (Acts) Chapter 1:1-11

- The sentence from the Creed of the Christian Community referred to: "Since that time he is the Lord of the heavenly forces upon earth and lives as the fulfiller of the fatherly deeds of the ground of the world."  The full text of the creed can be found here.
